Can anyone tell me what the IRC handicap is for the swing keel Sonata. If you know what the fin keel one is too that would also be useful.

Hi Gordon,I Sail a Sonata with a fixed keel
on Lough Swilly and I have been given a handicap of .835, Which I,m told is the correct IRC for a Sonata although I have
not had my boat measured.
Try our web site I think our foredeck man
(Live round) has posted something about handicaps.www.sandpiper.org.uk.
Anyway good luck!

I race a fixed keel Sonata in Liverpool the current One design IRC handicap is 0.829.
The Sonata as a national one design does not require measurement provided it complies with class rules.
